At ThriftyMood, your satisfaction is part of our mission to make secondhand shopping exciting, sustainable, and stress-free. We understand that sometimes a piece might not be the right fit, and that’s okay! Here’s everything you need to know about returning or exchanging your thrifted finds.

Returns & Refunds

We gladly accept returns for refund within 7 days of purchase, under the following conditions:

  • Items must be in the same condition as sold — clean, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.

  • Tags (if any) must still be attached.

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. If the purchase was made in cash, refunds will be provided in cash as well.

Note: Shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

Exchanges

Prefer to swap instead of return? No problem! We offer exchanges within 7 days of purchase.

  • Items can be exchanged for another product of equal or greater value (with the price difference paid by the customer).
  • If you don’t find something right away, we can offer store credit valid for 30 days.
  • Just like with returns, exchanged items must be in original condition and accompanied by a receipt.

Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

To maintain hygiene and fairness, the following items are final sale:

  • Accessories (e.g., hats, scarves, jewelry, belts)
  • Intimates (e.g., undergarments, bodysuits, swimsuits)
  • Sale or clearance items marked “Final Sale”
  • Items damaged after purchase or returned in unsellable condition

Online Orders

If you purchased through our website:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return or exchange.
  • Items must be shipped back within 3 days of receiving return approval.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or incorrect.
  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund or issue store credit within 3–5 business days.
